Payal Kumar

Payal Kumar has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Payal most recently served as the Director of Risk Adjustment and Quality Operations at Superior HealthPlan since May 2019. Prior to that, they worked as the Risk Adjustment Programs Manager at University HealthCare Alliance from March 2017 to December 2018. Before that, they held various positions at Healthcare Partners of Nevada, including Manager of Clinical Services from November 2015 to February 2017, and Clinical Reviewer for HCC Programs from June 2014 to November 2015. Earlier in their career, they worked at Kaplan Medical as a Senior National Medical Advisor from November 2012 to May 2014, and as a National Medical Advisor from November 2010 to November 2012. Payal also worked at Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions as an Associate Faculty Manager from March 2010 to November 2010.

Payal Kumar completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, where they studied from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they pursued a medical degree (MD) at Windsor University from 2001 to 2004. Payal also holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of the West Indies, where they studied from 1998 to 2001. In addition to their academic qualifications, Payal obtained a certification from the Educational Council for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) in October 2004.
