Katie Peterson has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Katie began their career as a Teacher at Chicago Public Schools, where they demonstrated excellence in classroom teaching and instructional materials. Katie then served as the Director of Just for KIDS Preschool, overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and developing curriculum. Following this, Katie worked as a HR-Talent Acquisition Associate Recruiter at ConAgra Foods, where they developed and implemented effective recruiting methods and built cross-functional relationships with hiring managers. Katie continued their talent acquisition career at Ryder System, Inc., serving as the Supervisor of Recruiting Services, managing a team of recruiters and handling Northeast Region driver recruiting. Later, Katie joined Gallagher as a Senior Recruiter GGB, responsible for sourcing and selecting candidates. Eventually, they became the Manager of Talent Acquisition- CSO at Gallagher, focusing on talent acquisition strategies. Currently, Katie holds the position of Director of Talent Acquisition at Superior Insurance Partners.

Katie Peterson earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Family and Consumer Sciences/Human Sciences from Eastern Illinois University in 1992. Katie later obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Educational, Instructional, and Curriculum Supervision from Concordia University Chicago from 1998 to 2000.
