Global Director of Talent Acquisition (Contractor) at Staffing Theory

Debra Barrette has a strong background in talent acquisition and staffing in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. Debra is currently serving as the Global Director of Talent Acquisition at Staffing Theory, where they focus on filling difficult staffing needs for biotech, small pharma, and niche CROs in the US and Europe. Debra specializes in assisting emerging biotech/pharma companies and has extensive experience in staffing various functional areas such as Clinical Operations, Program Management, Business Development, and more.

Prior to their current role, Debra worked as a Clinical Research Associate at proinnovera - International CRO. In this position, they conducted on-site study visits and remote site management in clinical trials, with a specialization in Dermatology. Debra strictly adhered to ICH-GCP guidelines.

Before joining proinnovera, Debra contributed their expertise in talent acquisition and staffing at Clinipace. Debra held various positions at Clinipace, including Director of Global Talent Acquisition, Senior Manager Global Talent Acquisition/Acting Director of Global Talent Acquisition, and Manager of Global Talent Acquisition. In these roles, they were responsible for developing and improving the company's talent acquisition strategy, working closely with global hiring managers to support staffing goals, and ensuring the timely and budget-friendly hiring of qualified staff across different functional areas.

Debra's work experience also includes a long tenure at Paragon Biomedical, where they served as the Manager of Global Clinical Recruitment. With over 14 years of experience in the clinical research industry and a background in human resources and training, they demonstrated strong team-oriented management skills and collaborated with associates and corporate managers/executives at all levels.

Debra Barrette obtained their Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Wheaton College Massachusetts between the years 1982 and 1986. Following a brief gap, they pursued further education and completed their Master's degree in Counseling Education from SUNY Brockport during the period from 1992 to 1995.
