Katherine Looney

Katherine, a Consulting Advisor, provides expertise in the area of claims data analysis and has provided analytical, process, and technical support, third party audits of healthcare data, payers, and providers for both government and private sector healthcare facilities. She provided testing for government web sites and provided process support to develop a web-based over-lay to for military treatment facilities.

Ms. Looney also provided project management and process engineering support at The Children’s Hospital to support the implementation of a Bar Code Medicine Administration System. She also led the development of claims based intelligence products and consulting services to support healthcare payers and providers. Recently her responsibilities included reviewing client claims data to identify and confirm overpayments with physicians and hospitals, specifically in the areas of duplicate payments.

Katherine holds a BS in Operations Management from Boston University and a Masters in Management IT and Operations from the University of Denver. She has ITIL v3, Six Sigma, and Project Management Professional certifications.
