Chris de Villiers has a diverse work experience in the advertising and creative industry. Chris is currently serving as a Creative Lead at Superside since May 2022. Chris also served as a Creative Group Head Copywriter at ninety9cents from September 2016 to September 2018. Before that, Chris worked as a Senior Copywriter at ninety9cents from 2015 to 2016. Chris began their career as a Midweight Copywriter at FCB Global from October 2011 to August 2015. Chris started their professional journey as a Junior Copywriter at MullenLowe South Africa from January 2010 to October 2011, where they worked on various brand, promotion, digital, and through-the-line projects for clients such as Hansa Pilsener, Johnson & Johnsons, Redds, The Cape Times, Totalsport, Stoprhinopoaching.com, Hang Ten, and Cape Town Fish Market.
Chris de Villiers obtained a Diploma in Copywriting from AAA School of Advertising in the year 2009. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2007, they attended Stellenbosch University where they pursued a BA in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics. Chris also completed their Matric at Stellenberg High School.
