Matías Bazán

Matías Bazán has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and analysis. Matías began their career with a role as a Help Desk at Universitat de Barcelona from September 2010 to August 2013. Matías then moved on to work as a Data Scientist at Nielsen from February 2014 to July 2015, where they developed optimized statistical methods and machine learning models for market research. Subsequently, they joined Iseco Sistemas S.L. as a Business Intelligence Analyst from May 2016 to February 2018. Matías then transitioned into the role of Data Engineer at Capgemini from February 2018 to March 2021. Following that, they worked at Glovo as a Data Engineer from March 2021 to December 2021, and subsequently as a Senior Data Engineer from January 2022 to September 2023. Currently, they are employed at Superside as a Lead Data Engineer starting from October 2023.

Matías Bazán earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Universitat de Barcelona, completing their studies from 2008 to 2012. Matías then pursued a Master's degree in Advanced Mathematics from the same university, which they obtained from 2012 to 2013. In 2020, they obtained a certification in "Hands On Essentials - Data Warehouse" from Snowflake.
