Eduardo Cassese

Director at Supervielle

Eduardo Cassese was appointed Chairman of the Board of Supervielle Seguros in October 2020. He also serves as Chairman of Supervielle Productores Asesores de Seguros, both subsidiaries of Grupo Supervielle. His main responsibility is to oversee all Insurance operations in a non- executive capacity. He joined the Board of Supervielle Seguros in June 2014. Previously, he served in various capacities for 27 years with American International Group. With AIG, Eduardo managed the Latin American Employee Benefits Division, from 1985 through 1988. After being transferred to the New York HQ, he oversaw the International Employee Benefits Division. Back in Buenos Aires, in 1992, he was instrumental in creating Alico Compañía de Seguros de Vida in 1994 and served as CEO. In December 2011, he retired as CEO of Alico Argentina and Uruguay. Eduardo holds degrees of Certified public Accountant and Bachelor of Business Administration from Universidad de Buenos Aires.

Eduardo brings to the Board 34 years’ experience in the Insurance Industry. As a Senior Manager in the AIG Latin America Life Division he oversaw the Employee Benefits operations of eight countries, included the four largest economies. His responsibilities included Revenue and Profit goals, marketing, organizational and managers development.
