Joshua Wallin has over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry. Joshua began their career in 1996 as a Design Engineer at Hayes Medical, Inc. In 1998, they moved to Cardio Thoracic Systems, Inc. / Guidant Corp. as a Design Engineer. In 2001, they became a Principal Mechanical Engineer at Paracor Medical, Inc. where they designed the first generation minimally invasive delivery system and delivery procedure for a novel heart failure technology. Joshua also developed training models, procedures, and materials and provided procedural training to surgeons and their surgical teams. In 2009, they worked as a Contract Mechanical Engineer at Nanostim, Inc. where they prototyped early-stage extraction catheter concepts. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Contract Mechanical Engineer at Sadra Medical and Maya Medical (Acquired by Covidien) where they redesigned a prototype stage catheter handle and took ownership of the mechanical and manufacturing aspects of the RF Generator, respectively. In 2013, they became a Medical Device Engineering Consultant at Energy Medical Systems, LLC. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at Apama Medical (Acquired by Boston Scientific) and Supira Medical as a Sr. R&D Engineer and Principal R&D Engineer, respectively. During their tenure, they handled all mechanical design for the various aspects of the capital equipment for the OneShot Ablation System, created and released design and manufacturing documentation, and designed various electrical subassemblies and cable harnesses.

Joshua Wallin attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering with a concentration in Mechanical Design.
