Maya Kassahun

Maya Kassahun is a skilled professional with a diverse background in education, program management, and community engagement. Currently serving as a Program Associate at the Support Center for Nonprofit Management since October 2022, Maya previously held the position of Lead Teacher at Success Academy Charter Schools and contributed as an Associate Teacher. Additionally, Maya was involved with Your Ethiopian Professionals Network as a Diaspora Engagement & Design Team Member and gained experience at Carleton College in various roles, including General Manager of The Cave and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Fellow. Early career experience includes an internship as a Design Intern at Peace Over Violence. Maya holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology/Anthropology with minors in Women's & Gender Studies and Africana Studies from Carleton College.
