Jay Shin ( Hochul )

Jay Hochul Shin is a Principal Research Engineer at Suprema Inc. since February 2010, specializing in biometrics algorithm development, including fingerprint and face recognition. Prior to this role, Jay served as a Senior Research Engineer at Samsung Electronics from March 2007 to January 2010, focusing on pattern recognition and image enhancement algorithms. Jay holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, where studies were completed between 1996 and 2006.
