Ryan Aidla

Director, Human Resources & Payroll at Supreme Steel

Ryan Aidla, CPHR, PCP began their career in 1999 as a Lifeguard at The Leisure Centre. Ryan then transitioned to the Royal Canadian Air Cadets in 1994, where they served as part of a youth leadership organization until 2001. In 2005, Ryan joined LSM as an HR Coordinator and later moved on to National Oilwell Varco as a Human Resources and Recruiting professional in 2006. From 2007 to 2011, they worked at Ledcor in various Human Resources roles. Ryan then joined Trinidad Drilling as an HR Manager from 2011 to 2015. Ryan continued their HR management career at Supreme Modular Fabrication Inc. from 2015 to 2020. Currently, Ryan is working as the Director of Human Resources and Payroll at Supreme Steel, a position they have held since October 2017. Throughout their career, Ryan has developed expertise in employee relations, staffing, policy development, compensation, data management, payroll support, and benefits administration.

Ryan Aidla, CPHR, PCP, completed a Project Management/Project Leadership Certificate from NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) from 2008 to 2010. Ryan also obtained a B.Comm in Human Resources from the University of Alberta from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they earned a Business Administration Certificate/Pre-Commerce from GPRC from 2000 to 2002. Ryan Aidla attended St. Joseph's Catholic High School, but no degree or field of study is specified. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) certification from The Canadian Payroll Association in 2013 and the CPHR (Certified Human Resources Professional) certification, formerly known as CHRP, from the Human Resources Institute of Alberta (HRIA) in 2007.
