Nicole Boivin has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Nicole started their career as the Chief Branding and Communications Officer at Manulife Financial, where they were responsible for rebuilding the brand presence and managing reputational risk. Nicole then transitioned into the role of Chief Talent Officer at 9 Story Media Group, overseeing talent management strategies. Nicole also founded their own consulting company, Nicole Boivin Consulting, where they provided strategic advice to boards and executives on various topics such as disruption, ESG, and M&A. Additionally, they have held corporate director positions at different organizations, including SupremeX Inc., RES PUBLICA Consulting group, Brampton Distribution Holdco, Pathways to Education Canada, and Ontario Power Generation. Currently, they are the Creator and Program Director of the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Exec Ed Program at Schulich School of Business - York University. Furthermore, they have served as the host of the podcast series "Leaders Unplugged," which features conversations with female leaders about their personal and professional journeys.

Nicole Boivin has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne, which they acquired from 1979 to 1982. Nicole then pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General at the same university from 1989 to 1990. Nicole further expanded their education by completing the Corporate Directors Program at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management in 2014-2015, earning the ICD.D degree. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as Taking Flight with DISC Certification from Take Flight Learning and the Institute for Corporate Directors ICD.D from the ICD - Rotman Directors Education Program.
