Morgan Spade's work experience includes roles at various companies. They started their career as a Purchasing Assistant at MIZA Pharmaceuticals in 2000 and worked there until 2002. They then joined the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Agency as a Program Support Assistant from 2003 to 2005. After that, they worked at the Reinvestment Fund, starting as an Associate in 2005 and eventually becoming the Director of Communications and Engagement in January 2022. At the Reinvestment Fund, they were responsible for leading internal communications strategies, overseeing digital communications, and implementing practices to advance racial equity and inclusion. In 2012, they also held the position of Marketing Manager, Communication & Investor Development at the Reinvestment Fund. In addition to their corporate experience, Morgan Spade worked as an Adjunct Professor at Rowan University starting in 2007.
