Douglas Dietz

Douglas Dietz has extensive work experience in engineering and management roles. From June 2016 to the present, they have been working at Sur-Seal, LLC. as a Client Account Manager and previously as the Director of Application Engineering. In these positions, they have supported customers in various industries and helped them solve engineering challenges.

Prior to joining Sur-Seal, LLC., Dietz worked at BriskHeat Corporation from January 2010 to June 2016. Douglas held roles such as Vice President of Engineering, Director of Engineering, Sr. Engineering Manager, and Project Engineer. In these positions, they managed engineering teams, provided technical support, and was involved in innovation, design, testing, production, and quality control.

From April 1999 to July 2002, Dietz worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at The Ohio State University, where they developed a finite difference model and simulated fluid flow through micro-nozzle geometry. Douglas also had a brief co-op experience at GE Aviation in early 1999.

In the early stages of their career, Dietz worked as a Front Desk Clerk at Many Glacier Hotel in 1998 and as an intern at the Hamilton City Office of Engineers in 1997.

Douglas Dietz earned a High School Diploma from St. Xavier High School in 1996. Douglas then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University, completing it in 2000. Douglas furthered their education at The Ohio State University and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Studies in Mechanical Engineering from 2000 to 2002.
