Manish Chauhan

Manish Chauhan has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles.

Beginning in 2010, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Samsung Research Institute, where they were involved in NAS layer development for the LTE protocol stack and API writing for the Bada mobile phone operating system.

In 2012, Manish joined Mitel as a Senior R&D Engineer, contributing to research and development projects.

From 2014 to 2016, they served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo, working on real-time operating systems used in safety-critical systems, specifically autonomous vehicles.

Starting in 2016, Manish joined Amazon as a Software Development Engineer and Product Manager, specializing in AWS Cloud Map and AWS Auto Naming. Manish designed and implemented various features, including change propagation monitoring, data snapshot service, and DNS-based service discovery.

In 2020, they became an Entrepreneur in Residence at Entrepreneur First, gaining hands-on experience with startups.

In 2021, Manish worked as a Product Development Manager at ApplyBoard, focusing on product development.

Currently, they are the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of SureBright, a position they have held since November 2021.

Additionally, they have been appointed as a Board Member at the InsurTech Association, starting in 2023.

Manish Chauhan has a diverse education history. In 2006, they began their undergraduate studies at Kumaon Engineering College, where they pursued a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering. Manish successfully completed their degree in 2010.

After obtaining their bachelor's degree, Manish Chauhan went on to further their education. Between 2014 and 2016, they attended the University of Waterloo, where they earned a Master's Degree. Their field of study during this time was MMath (Computer Science).

In 2020, Manish Chauhan participated in Y Combinator - Startup School W2020, which they completed at startupschool.org. This program focused on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies, providing him with valuable knowledge and skills in building and managing startups.

Most recently, in 2021 and 2022, Manish Chauhan attended INSEAD, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA). While the specific field of study is not mentioned, this program is widely recognized for its comprehensive business education.
