Joshua R Nicholson is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in leadership and incident response services. Currently serving as the Director of Incident Response Services at Surefire Cyber Inc. since December 2024 and as the Founder and Host of the Cyber Security America Podcast, Joshua emphasizes the importance of addressing emerging threats in the cybersecurity landscape. Former roles include Vice President of Incident Response Services and Professional Services at DeepSeas, where Joshua managed complex cybersecurity investigations and led the growth of the commercial cybersecurity team. Joshua has also held senior positions at Booz Allen Hamilton, DarkStack7, COFENSE, Wells Fargo, Ernst & Young, Hancock Whitney, and Strategic Staffing Solutions, demonstrating a strong track record in managing large teams, delivering innovative security solutions, and enhancing corporate growth. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Tulane University and has received further education at The Wharton School and the University of New Orleans.
