James Brooks

James Brooks serves as the Managing Partner at Executive Development Consulting since September 2011, specializing in Executive Development, Assessment, and Coaching for Fortune 100 companies. In addition to this role, James holds positions on the Board of Directors for JDRF - Illinois Chapter and acts as an Executive Adviser for SurePeople. Previously, James co-chaired the Conference Board's Work-Life Council and spent over a decade at Cisco Systems in various leadership positions, including Director of Employee Engagement and Director of Leadership Development Processes. James began the professional journey at Korn Ferry, providing consulting services to Fortune 500 clients, and has a strong educational background with a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from DePaul University and a B.A. with Honors in Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
