Glen Mayhew

Glen Mayhew serves as the National Portfolio Lead for Maritime Policing at the National Police Chiefs' Council, focusing on dive operations since April 2020. Also, in this role, Glen leads the National Police initiative for Inland Search & Rescue, collaborating with organizations such as Mountain Rescue England & Wales and HM Coastguard. Glen holds the position of Chair at Surf Life Saving GB, a charity dedicated to drowning prevention with 10,000 members, and serves as Vice Chair of the UK Search & Rescue Strategic Board, which oversees national governance for search and rescue efforts supported by 50,000 volunteers. As Assistant Chief Constable with Devon and Cornwall Police since January 2020, Glen additionally chairs the Devon Cornwall Isles of Scilly Local Resilience Forum, coordinating the response to major incidents among over 40 agencies.
