Katie Cleek serves as the Community Engagement & Marketing Coordinator at Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium, focusing on community events that promote coral reef research and restoration throughout the Upper Florida Keys. Additionally, Katie holds leadership roles with the Surfrider Foundation as Board Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary of the Florida Keys Chapter, where responsibilities include educational outreach and community partnership development. At Matecumbe Microgreens, Katie works as the Social Media & Marketing Manager, creating content for an urban microgreens farm. Previous experiences include managing social media and events at Gardenia’s Bistro, administrative support at Coral Restoration Foundation™, and various positions related to scuba diving and customer service. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Behavior from The University of Georgia.
