Linas Kapočius

Linas Kapočius is a skilled data engineer and health data solutions architect with extensive experience in data governance, processing, and analytics. Currently, at Surfshark, Linas focuses on defining confidential matching logic, migrating to Python-based architectures, and developing strategies for GDPR compliance. Previous roles include consulting for Valstybės duomenų agentūra on health data usage, creating data engineering pipelines, and leading open data initiatives to enhance government transparency. Linas has also contributed to COVID-19 research at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences and performed RNA-seq analysis to support personalized medicine. Linas holds a Master's degree in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Chemistry from Kaunas University of Technology.
