Nipuna Akalana Perera

Nipuna Akalana Perera is an experienced software engineer currently serving as an Associate Technical Lead at Surge Global since May 2022, where responsibilities include determining operational feasibility and evaluating proposed solutions. Previously, Nipuna co-founded Ifonix, an innovation lab, and held software engineering roles at Q Force (Pvt) Ltd. and Meetrix Technology Solutions (Pvt) Limited, both focusing on IT business solutions and collaboration systems, respectively. Nipuna began a career in full stack development with IMR Holdings and Rapidventure. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Information Technology from Cardiff Metropolitan University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the Java Institute for Advanced Technology.
