Diane Whittaker has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Diane started their career at 3M as a Senior Analyst, where they contributed to the design, development, and installation of a Medical Records system. Diane also played a role in improving system performance and led a software quality improvement team.

After their tenure at 3M, Diane joined McKesson as a Director of Laboratory Information Systems Development. Here, they managed a large team and oversaw the creation of a new client-server system, including product development, integration, implementation, and resource planning. Diane also introduced a software development life cycle focused on front-end specifications and quality measurement. In addition to this role, Diane also served as a Director of Clinical Product Management at McKesson, where they were responsible for planning, release cycles, and integration of laboratory, pharmacy, and radiology information systems.

Diane then established their own company, Page Forward Design, where they provided web design, programming, and marketing services to local small to medium-sized businesses. Diane developed effective processes such as a quote process, proposal template, and specification methodology, and built relationships with external consultants and hosting companies to ensure efficient project delivery.

Following their entrepreneurial venture, Diane worked as a Product Designer and Systems Analyst at Surge LLC. Diane played a crucial role in establishing the Surge Product Design Group by implementing design processes and practices to enhance specification development. Diane witnessed the significant growth of the company from a small team to over 100 staff members during their time there.

In their most recent role at Pivot RnD as an IT Manager, Diane oversees the management of IT operations at Pivot-Products.com.

Throughout their career, Diane has showcased their expertise and versatility in system design, development, process improvement, and mentoring. Diane is experienced in working within different project management frameworks, including waterfall and Agile methods.

Diane Whittaker's education history includes earning a Master of Business, Technology Management (MBATM) degree from Westminster College from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained an Internet Communications Certificate in Database Development and Programming from the University of Utah from 2001 to 2002. Additionally, Diane graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology. Diane is also MT ASCP Board Certified in this field.
