Kazi Nasrat Ali

Kazi Nasrat Ali has a range of experience in software development and engineering. Kazi Nasrat began their career in 1999 as a Software Engineer at Microsoft, where they worked in a contract position for nearly seven years. During this time, they were responsible for requirement analysis, system design, and development.

In 2005, Kazi founded their own start-up called Belltech Systems. As the founder, they developed various products, including programming and coding in languages such as C# and C++. Kazi Nasrat also analyzed the market, defined products, and brought them to market.

In 2007, Kazi joined Draw anywhere as a Software Architect and Founder. Kazi Nasrat worked on an online diagramming solution, where they analyzed and defined project scopes and led the product design and development.

In 2009, Kazi joined Microsoft via HCL as a Senior Software Developer. Kazi Nasrat primarily focused on website and web services development using C#, MVC, Web API, SQL Server, JavaScript, and Ajax. Kazi Nasrat worked on projects such as MSN and Bing Homepage, and their responsibilities included analyzing customer requirements and developing solutions.

In 2016, Kazi joined Surge - a Catalyte company as a Principal Software Engineer. Kazi Nasrat developed various software, including security and marketing-related applications using technologies such as C# Blazor, .NET Core, Amazon AWS, Cognito, Azure AD, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Queue, and SQL Azure.

During this time, Kazi also worked at Insight Global as a Senior .NET Azure Developer in 2016, where they developed CRM software for Microsoft. Kazi Nasrat worked on creating marketing campaigns for clients, utilizing Microsoft's BigData platform and Azure. Kazi Nasrat also facilitated email and in-product message marketing for Office365 and other Microsoft products.

In 2018, Kazi joined LinkedIn as an Instructor. Kazi Nasrat created courses on ASP. NET Core, React, and ASP. NET MVC.

Kazi Nasrat Ali completed a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology from 1987 to 1991. Following that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras from 1991 to 1993. Later, in 2006-2007, they attended the University of Washington for additional education, obtaining a degree in Software Product Management with a focus on Software Marketing.
