Barbara Christ

Barbara Christ is an experienced healthcare professional with a strong background in quality management, patient safety, and risk control. Currently serving as the Manager of Quality, Patient Safety, Risk, and Infection Control at Surgeons Choice Medical Center since July 2021, Barbara has previously held key leadership positions, including Director of Patient Safety and Risk at Encore Rehabilitation Services and Director of Quality and Patient Safety at DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital. With extensive experience in quality improvement initiatives at Detroit Medical Center and a focus on outcomes management at St. Mary Mercy, Barbara's expertise is supported by a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Michigan and a Master's degree in English Language and Literature from Eastern Michigan University.
