Charles Dressler has held various roles in the technology and finance sectors for the past 35 years. In 2019, they were appointed President and Chief Technology Officer & Chief Financial Officer at Surgere. From 1984 to 1998, they were the Director of Advanced Programs at Lockheed Martin, where they directed several laser-based infrared missile countermeasure programs for both the Air Force and Navy. From 1989 to 1998, they were an Instructor at The University of Akron. From 1982 to 1984, they were a Senior Engineer at Harris Corporation, where they designed and developed digital signal processing hardware and software.

Charles Dressler obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Akron between 1977 and 1981. Charles then went on to receive their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management and Finance from the same university between 1984 and 1991. Additionally, they have taken courses in Managing Technical & Professional Organizations at the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
