Dr Matthew Beatty

Matthew Beatty MD has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Matthew is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of Surgery Hero, a digital clinic that provides assistance to patients before and after surgery. Before this, they served as the Clinical Lead at Huma from March 2018 to January 2020. Prior to that, they were the CEO and Co-Founder of Spacehop from January 2015 to April 2018. Matthew also worked as a Doctor at Medacs Healthcare from September 2012 to July 2015 and at NHS England from September 2013 to July 2014. Additionally, they founded the Medical Fluid Calculator App in September 2013, and worked as a Doctor at NHS England from July 2011 to August 2012. Matthew began their professional career as a Market Researcher at Bell NI from September 2009 to July 2011. Matthew holds a degree from Queen's University Belfast, where they were a student from January 2005 to June 2011.

Matthew Beatty MD completed their primary education at the British School of Paris from 1999 to 2001. From 2005 to 2011, they pursued a degree in medicine at Queen's University Belfast. In addition, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (Bsc) degree in Sports Medicine from the University of Leeds, where they attended from 2006 to 2007.
