Dr. Paul Alcock

Dr. Paul Alcock is a seasoned cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer and Director of Information Security at Surgical Information Systems since March 2018. Dr. Alcock also contributes to academia as an Adjunct Faculty member at Southern New Hampshire University and as an Adjunct Instructor of Cybersecurity at North Carolina State University and the University of Central Florida. Previous roles include Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Senior Security Analyst at Health Network One, NSOC Technician at Broadsmart, Inc., and Network Security Engineer as an independent consultant. Dr. Alcock's foundational experience includes serving as an Avionics Engineer in the Royal Air Force. Educational qualifications encompass multiple degrees from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Capella University, and Western Governors University, culminating in a Doctorate in IT with a focus on Cybersecurity and Information Assurance.
