Felipe Sarmiento

Felipe Sarmiento is a seasoned design and experience professional with extensive expertise in data visualization and user experience design. Currently serving as Design and Experience Lead at Surgical Safety Technologies Inc. since February 2019, Felipe has held various roles including Creative Lead and Data Visualization & UX Designer. Prior experience includes positions at St. Michael's Hospital, where innovative data visualization initiatives were developed for the International Center for Surgical Safety, and at OCAD University as a Graduate Research Assistant. Felipe's creative journey began at Pico Global, overseeing significant corporate events, and continued as a Graphic Designer at Impact XM, where brand guidelines and proposal designs were managed under tight timelines. Felipe holds a Master's degree in Inclusive Design and a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, both from OCAD University, along with an Art Fundamentals Diploma from Sheridan College.
