Tom Andersson

Vice President, Business Development Medical Device at Surgical Science

Tom Andersson has extensive experience in the medical device and healthcare industry. Tom began their career as a Regional Sales Manager at GE Healthcare Information Technology in 1999. Tom then moved on to become the Area Vice-President of Sales at Fuji Medical Systems, where they led sales activities in the Eastern Half of the United States and managed a team of over 40 sales professionals. After that, Tom served as the President of DMS Health Technologies, where they drove a diverse portfolio of strategic business units focused on medical equipment sales, service, and consumables. Tom later joined Carestream Health as the Regional General Manager for the United States and Canada, overseeing sales, marketing, service, and operations for a $400mm revenue business. Prior to their current position, Tom worked at GHX as the Executive Director for the Midwest, driving advanced supply chain and procurement solutions across a 10-state area. Tom is currently the Vice President of Business Development at Surgical Science.

Tom Andersson graduated from the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business in 1987 with a BBA degree in Finance, earning the distinction of Summa cum Laude. Prior to their university education, they attended Bay High School. Additionally, Tom has obtained a certification in "The 10 Pillars of Customer Experience" from LinkedIn, although the exact date of completion is not provided.
