Alon Geri

Co-founder & CTO at Surgical Theater

Alon Geri has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Alon started their career in 1985 as a Helicopter Pilot and Flight Instructor in the Israeli Air Force (IAF). During their time at the IAF, they also worked as a Flight Simulation Software Engineer, leading a team in upgrading and extending the life of the F15 flight simulator.

In 2001, Alon became the Chief Software Engineer at the IAF, managing software development projects for various aircraft systems and coordinating subcontractors. Alon completed a residency in Cleveland, Ohio, under an A2 visa for almost three years.

In 2008, Alon joined Omnisys as a Senior Software Engineer, Project Manager, and Consultant. Alon worked on the F-16(i) flight simulator and provided consulting services as a System Engineer for the IAF in the Tactical Combat Flight Simulator Programs.

Since 2011, Alon has been with Surgical Theater, initially serving as the Co-Founder & VP of Engineering and later taking on the role of Co-Founder & CTO. Alon has been responsible for leading engineering tasks and designing and architecting the Surgical Theater line of products. Alon has also been a member of the senior leadership team and a board member of the company.

Alon Geri's education history includes obtaining a B.Sc degree in Computer Science & Math from Bar-Ilan University. Alon attended the university from 1992 to 1995.
