Shawn Chapman

Shawn Chapman is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in founding and leading innovative companies. Currently serving as Co-founder and CTO of EmpowerLocal since July 2018, Shawn also co-founded Surgiorithm, Inc. in March 2016, which specializes in software for ophthalmologists and aesthetic surgeons aimed at enhancing practice productivity. Previous roles include Chief Technology Officer at Hytch, LLC, and Co-founder and CTO at Wannado, Inc., focusing on improving user engagement in leisure activities. With a background in software development and information security, Shawn has held significant positions at BancVue and Dealerskins, where responsibilities included overseeing technology organizations, implementing security standards, and developing web-based systems. Shawn graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering from Vanderbilt University in 2000.
