James Boyce

James Boyce has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. James began their career as a Full Stack Software Developer at Utility Software Services from July 2016 to June 2018. Following that, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Servian from June 2018 to August 2019, focusing on leadership roles and technology advocacy. James then moved on to Australia Post in February 2019 as an Engagement Lead, where they managed stakeholders and provided technical leadership for a cloud migration project using Google Cloud Platform. From October 2019 to May 2020, James worked as a Senior Software Engineer at cargo.one, a seed-stage startup, emphasizing iterative improvement and growth. James then joined Slalom Build in June 2020 as a Senior Architect, and finally, they are currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer at Surreal (FKA Muso) starting from September 2021.

James Boyce holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Melbourne, which they obtained from 2012 to 2016. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Professional Data Engineering from Google Cloud in July 2018 and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2018.
