Cigdem Turkan

Cigdem Turkan (Çiğdem Türkan) currently serves as an Academy Auditor for the Premier League, specializing in youth development, player pathways, and various audit projects related to player care and equality. With over a decade of experience in the football sector including roles at Arsenal F.C. as a Licensing and Compliance Officer and safeguarding steward, and at The Football Association as a consultant focused on player engagement, education, and welfare, Cigdem has demonstrated a strong commitment to inclusivity and sustainability. Additional contributions include board membership for the Zesh Rehman Foundation and active participation in multiple advisory and working groups. Cigdem holds an MBA in Sports Management from Escuela Universitaria Real Madrid Universidad Europea, as well as degrees in Sport and Exercise Sciences from Loughborough University and a PGCE from the University of Westminster.
