Aidan Metcalfe

Aidan Metcalfe is the Business Development Director for Vantablack VBx at Surrey NanoSystems Ltd, the company that produces the darkest, most effective light-absorbing material commercially available. Prior to this, Aidan was the Director/Owner of Asia Manufacturing Link, providing UK and Ireland customers access to Asian manufacturing companies. With a background in chemicals, Aidan also previously held leadership roles at AkzoNobel, a global coatings and chemicals manufacturer, including Regional Director for China Hong Kong & Taiwan and General Manager of International Paint of Shanghai. Aidan holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Queen's University Belfast and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Surrey.
