Andrew Walsh

Andrew Walsh is an accomplished Embedded Software Engineer with extensive experience in the development of firmware and software for automotive and industrial applications. Currently serving as Flight Software Lead at Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd since July 2021, Andrew previously held senior engineering roles at RVL, Continental, General Distribution Ltd., and Emerson Control Techniques. Key contributions include the development of automotive Automatic Parking firmware, improving cloud-based firmware reliability, and creating interface firmware for variable speed drives. Andrew holds an MEng in Electronic and Software Engineering from the University of Leicester, where education was completed in 2002.
