Andy Palfreyman

Andy Palfreyman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Andy currently works at Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd (SSTL) as the Head of Institutional Business. Prior to this role, they held positions such as Head of Business (GNSS), Business Manager - GNSS, Head of COMMS, GNSS Receivers Team Leader, Engineering Manager, and GNSS & AOCS Equipment Team Leader at SSTL. Before joining SSTL, Andy worked as a Senior RF Engineer at Powerwave Technologies and Ericsson. Andy also served as a Team Leader for RF Linearizers at Wireless Systems International Ltd and held the position of Senior RF Engineer at both Wireless Systems International Ltd and Ericsson. In the early years of their career, Andy worked as a Microwave Design Engineer at MATRA MARCONI SPACE.

Andy Palfreyman completed a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Physics from Loughborough University, from 1989 to 1992. Andy then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Microwave Solid State Physics from the University of Portsmouth, from 1992 to 1993.
