Jonathan Yu

Jonathan Yu is a dedicated educator and coach with extensive experience in teaching and player development. Currently serving as a teacher for Surrey Schools since May 2023, Jonathan has previously held positions at Southridge School and Surrey Schools, focusing on Physical and Health Education, Learning Support, and English Language Learners. As a youth basketball coach at Vancouver Sports Club since August 2021, Jonathan has successfully led teams across various age groups and facilitated camps and tryouts. Additionally, Jonathan has worked as a Player Development Coach for the Saigon Heat and College Prep Italy, supporting professional and aspiring players in achieving competitive success. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Education in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Kinesiology specializing in Pedagogy from the University of the Fraser Valley.
