Sarah Anderson

Sarah Anderson (Reny) is a Computer Science Teacher at Surrey Schools since July 2021, bringing extensive experience in educational outreach. Previously, Sarah worked with UBC Geering Up Engineering Outreach from April 2018 to August 2022 in various roles, including Professional Development Student Assistant, Workshops Student Assistant, Camps Coordinator, and Software Engineering Instructor, where responsibilities ranged from curriculum design to logistics management for STEM programs. Additionally, Sarah held leadership positions as Vice President Standards and Treasurer at Kappa Kappa Gamma from January 2018 to January 2020, overseeing chapter finances. Sarah graduated from The University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science in 2020 and subsequently earned a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Education and Teaching in 2021.
