Dr. Brad McCusker

Dr. Brad McCusker is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Canberra since 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Executive Officer at SURROUND Australia Pty Ltd, a leading-edge knowledge software company, since 2014. Dr. Brad also held the position of Chief Executive Officer at SURROUND NZ Ltd starting from October 2019. Their role at SURROUND involved leveraging semantic data tools to solve complex problems and enhance organizational decision-making ethically.

Dr. Brad McCusker completed their education in a chronological order. Dr. Brad first attended Geelong Grammar School from 1974 to 1978, focusing on Physical Sciences. Dr. Brad then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Computer Science at Deakin University from 1979 to 1984. In 1992, they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, specializing in Business, Economics, and Computer Science, from Macquarie University. Finally, from 2009 to 2015, Dr. Brad McCusker attended The Australian National University, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Complexity Theory, Semantics, and Inductive Modeling.
