Yongfeng Fan

Yongfeng Fan has extensive work experience in the field of research and neurology. Yongfeng currently holds the position of Senior Scientist at Surrozen since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked at UCSF for over 17 years, starting as a Post-doc from July 2004 to June 2009. Yongfeng then progressed to become an Assistant Researcher from July 2009 to July 2017, and finally an Associate Researcher from July 2017 to February 2021. Before joining UCSF, Yongfeng completed their Residency in Neurology at the 2nd Hospital, Shanxi Medical University from 1997 to 2000.

Yongfeng Fan obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Shanxi Medical University between 1991 and 2000. Yongfeng then pursued further education at Shanghai Medical University, where they received a Ph.D. in Neuroscience between 2000 and 2003.
