Audra Chilton

Audra Chilton has a solid work experience in the field of finance and accounting. Audra is currently serving as the Director of Finance at Surry County Schools since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Mount Airy City Schools from February 2014 to June 2022. Before joining the education sector, they worked at BB&T as a Senior Accountant from August 2012 to February 2014. Audra began their professional career as a Senior Tax Associate at Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP from August 2007 to August 2012.

Audra Chilton obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Appalachian State University in the years 2002 to 2006. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Accounting from the same university, completing it in the years 2006 to 2007.
