Information Technology Team

The Information Technology Team at the State Universities Retirement System (SURS) is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the technological infrastructure that supports over 240,000 members and 61 employers in Illinois. This includes managing network systems, ensuring cybersecurity, providing technical support, developing applications, and overseeing IT governance, risk, and compliance. The team works collaboratively to ensure seamless and secure technology operations across the organization's offices in Champaign and Naperville.
