Sam Watson

Sam Watson joined SAM in 2018. He has over 30 years of transportation planning, design and construction services experience. In addition to managing and overseeing projects, he has spent the last fifteen years in roles including office manager and operations manager for multi-discipline, geographically dispersed offices.

As a Senior Vice President, Sam primarily serves as Operations Manager for SAM-CS. His responsibilities include the oversight of business operations for the construction engineering and inspection business, currently operating in nine geographies throughout five states. Sam’s additional responsibilities include the oversight and staff development for project managers serving SAM-CS.

Sam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas and earned his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2011.

His favorite core value is People. He believes that a place of employment is really only comprised of people, their relationships with those they work with, and their personal conviction to organize and provide quality services to their clients.
