Christina Orcutt has a diverse range of work experience in various roles. Christina started their career at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where they worked as a Cage Monitor, checking in and out animation, visual effects, motion media, and gaming production equipment. Christina also served as a Shift Leader, managing and training cage monitors and assisting students in using equipment properly.
Christina then worked as a Receptionist at Vector Marketing and as a Waitress/Greeter at Friendly's Restaurants.
In 2014, Christina volunteered at IndieCade as an Award Volunteer, assisting in laser cutting individual awards and managing the Indiecade Award Twitter feed. Christina also helped design the aesthetics of the special awards.
At Disney Interactive in 2015, they worked as a Showcaser, playing and demonstrating Disney Infinity 3.0 at various conventions and answering questions from consumers and the press.
Christina then became a Teaching Assistant at the University of Southern California and worked as a Game Artist and Game Designer at the USC Game Innovation Lab. In this role, they designed an interactive and informative experience called "USC On The Safe Side" to raise campus safety awareness for incoming USC students. Christina collaborated with programmers, other artists, and writers to develop an immersive educational experience.
Christina also served as a Juror at IndieCade and as an Artist and Art Intern at Survios. At Survios, they worked on various projects, including "Creed Rise to Glory: Championship Edition," "Puzzle Bobble VR: Vacation Odyssey," "Westworld: Awakening," "The Walking Dead: Onslaught," "Battlewake," "International AAA Comic-Con Demo," and "Electronauts."
Throughout their career, Christina Orcutt has demonstrated their skills and creativity in the field of game design and VR experiences.
Christina Orcutt earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Visual Effects and Animation from Savannah College of Art and Design. Christina attended the college from 2009 to 2013. Christina later pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Interactive Media and Game Design at the University of Southern California from 2014 to 2017.
