John Whitebrook serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees and Research Lead at Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide since January 2021. With over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, John has held prominent positions including Managing Director at Deloitte Consulting LLP and Partner at Deloitte MCS Ltd. Additionally, John was Country Manager/VP for Intrasphere Technologies Ltd. and has a strong background in corporate clinical and regulatory systems from roles at Pfizer Inc. and GlaxoWellcome. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of West London and a Ph.D. related to heavy metal tolerance in plants from the University of Bristol.

Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide
Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide are a national charity providing dedicated support to adults who have been bereaved or impacted by Suicide. We provide peer to peer support through our Groups, National Helpline and Online Forum. Our volunteers come from all walks of life but nearly all have been affected by suicide themselves. This shared experience is key to making people feel that they are not alone. Suicide recognises no social, ethnic or cultural barriers – nor do we. Our helpline, forum and groups are free and are open to all survivors of bereavement by suicide aged 18 years and over.
