Cati Stone has a diverse and extensive work experience. Cati began their career as an Associate at Drew Eckl & Farnham in 2000 and later joined Magill & Atkinson as an Associate. In 2005, they served as the Litigation & Corporate Counsel at Unisource Worldwide, Inc., where they managed all litigation and drafted supplier agreements. Cati then became the Assistant General Counsel at Nash Finch Company in 2010.

In 2012, they joined Cancer Legal Line as the Director of Development and Community Outreach, where they established the development office and implemented donor software. Cati also developed and implemented the organization's first development plan and recruited volunteer attorneys.

From 2013 to 2020, Cati worked at Susan G. Komen Greater Atlanta, first as an Executive Director and then as the Chief Executive Officer. During their time there, they provided strategic leadership and oversight.

Finally, in 2020, Cati joined Susan G. Komen as the VP of Community Health, where they developed strategic objectives and focused on health equity interventions.

Cati Stone earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from The University of Southern Mississippi in 1996. Following this, they attended The University of Alabama School of Law from 1996 to 1999, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (JD) degree. In 2013, Cati Stone pursued further education at The University of St. Thomas in a program called Mini MBA for Nonprofits; however, their end year is not specified.
