Julia Mogren, MPH, CHES, currently serves as a Substance Use Prevention Epidemiologist at the Virginia Department of Health, where responsibilities include supporting the Virginia Electronic Disease Surveillance System, conducting COVID-19 case investigations, and providing guidance to new system users. Additionally, Julia holds the position of Health Policy Advocacy Ambassador with Susan G. Komen, focusing on policy updates and strategic initiatives. Previous experience includes a role as a Health and Wellness Coach at Chance Health Coaching and an internship at the Virginia Department of Health. Julia earned a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the same institution.
