Valerie Nauman Nelson is a seasoned professional with a focus on federal policy and advocacy, currently serving as Manager at Susan G. Komen since August 2019, after holding the position of Sr Specialist in the same department. Prior experience includes working as a Youth Advocacy Program Associate at the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids and as the Mid-Atlantic Regional Coordinator for The Roosevelt Institute, where responsibilities encompassed organizing conferences and supporting university think tank operations.
