Arlen Weiner

Arlen Weiner is a Program Officer at The Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation since September 2021, bringing extensive experience in public health and policy. Prior roles include serving as a Consultant for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, assisting the COVID-19 response team from March 2020 to August 2021, and providing strategic counsel at Good Knight Ventures from December 2018 to December 2020. As a Prevention Specialist for the City of Cambridge from June 2018 to June 2020, Arlen coordinated initiatives to integrate gender-based violence awareness into city services. Arlen's earlier experience includes managing strategic initiatives for global health programs at Global Health Strategies and analyzing policy proposals in the U.S. House of Representatives. Arlen holds a Master of Public Health degree from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Peace and Justice Studies and International Relations from Tufts University.
