Michael Yuan

Michael Yuan is an experienced technologist and entrepreneur with a diverse background in AI applications, cloud technology, and health services. Currently serving as a Technologist at GaiaNet.AI, Michael focuses on developing agentic AI applications. As the Founder of Second State, Michael plays a pivotal role in commercializing the WasmEdge Runtime, an open-source project under the CNCF/Linux Foundation. Michael has also held positions such as Venture Partner at Susquehanna International Group, LLP, Co-Founder of Ringful Health, and Co-founder and Chief Scientist at CyberMiles, where innovations in healthcare and e-commerce blockchain technology were advanced. Michael's earlier roles include Entrepreneur-in-Residence at SIG Ventures, Technologist at Axial Project, and Product Management Consultant at HookMobile, showcasing extensive expertise in mobile solutions and product management. Michael holds a PhD in Astrophysics from The University of Texas at Austin and a BSc in Astronomy from Nanjing University.
